There are plenty scenic footpaths and tracks for all tastes from Nordic to senior. Maps for lengthy walks are had in the French village of Sospel. The Mediterranean is at a distance of 15 kilometers, to be reached over a comfortable road. Culture is on ample supply along the entire Côte d’Azur. Whether Picasso or Cocteau or Chagall, in an hour you are at the important museums. At the Italian side are Cuneo and Genua the finest cities wthin a reasonable distance. San Remo has a splendid biking trail parallel by a few meters to the Mediterranean. And Olivetta itself boasts a grocery shop where fresh bread, milk, meat, and much more is available, and also a post office that opens three mornings a week.
